Initially, our platform allowed users to search by a similar artist—pulling up all the venues they've played at in the past and their upcoming gigs. This was a game-changer for artists looking to find venues that book similar acts, making booking outreach strategic and targeted.

However, we knew there was room to grow and add new features to expand on the current venue research process. We gathered feedback from our users and some top-tier music industry clients and realized that in some cases, artists want to explore venues in specific cities or search for opportunities within their genre rather than just looking at where similar artists have played.

With this new feature, users can now Search by City and Genre combination. Simply type in the name of any city and select a genre from the dropdown menu to see all upcoming shows and past booked venues in that city and genre. This is perfect for artists planning tours or looking to break into a new market.
